Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Homecare in Ogden. The role involves delivering advanced respiratory care across home, hospital setups, and physician-directed care in patients' homes.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatments, and education, acting as a resource for CRT staff, and contributing to quality improvement. 24 hours per week, with on-call considerations and counties served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution.
• Current State License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocols.
• Evaluate respiratory status using history, exam, and data; adjust care plans accordingly.
• Independently perform advanced procedures within scope of practice.
• Monitor progress and communicate findings to the care team and physicians.
• Lead or assist with quality improvement initiatives and program development.
• Support department protocols and mentor other respiratory staff.
