Job summary

Allied Property Management in Mansfield, Texas, is looking for an experienced part-time Staff Accountant to join our rapidly growing company. This role processes accounts payable, records homeowner payments and ledger charges, reconciles accounts, assists with new-client onboarding, and may support customer service for homeowner inquiries when workload allows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience (required).
• Proficiency with accounts payable, reconciliations, deposits, ledger activity and record maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and within established deadlines.
• Record homeowner deposits and ensure payments are posted to the appropriate homeowner accounts.
• Process utility payments through approved ACH procedures and maintain supporting documentation.
• Reconcile PEX accounts and research and resolve discrepancies.
• Support onboarding of new HOA clients and assist with customer service as needed.
• Calculate and record homeowner dues, late fees, and other ledger charges.
• Maintain organized accounting records and assist with special projects.
