Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking a Sales Lead and Floor Leader on Duty to mentor Bear Builders and drive store sales through Experience First behaviors. You’ll model service excellence, guide a small team, and provide feedback to management on performance and compliance.

On designated shifts you’ll serve as Floor Leader on Duty, while off-duty you’ll perform Bear Builder responsibilities, all within a flexible retail environment designed to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Availability to work 15-25 hours per week.
• Experience in retail or guest service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be a role model to others in providing exceptional Guest service to ensure a memorable experience
• Guide, support, and direct a team of associates to ensure smooth store operations and the achievement of sales goals
• Model Experience First behaviors
• Provide feedback to the management team to make them aware of performance and compliance issues that the CWM and AWM are responsible for addressing
