Job summary

MGM Springfield, part of MGM Resorts International, seeks a Garde Manger Cook to join a high-energy culinary team. You will execute large-scale food preparation, manage inventory, and help deliver show-stopping presentations that WOW guests.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of cook experience and is available for Friday–Sunday shifts 6:00am–2:45pm, including weekends and holidays. Perks include free meals, parking, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Cook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service.
• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups.
• Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries.
