The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with weekends/holidays required. Knife skills and knowledge of standard kitchen equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional cooking experience.
• Worst-case training will be given as needed.
• Knowledge of knives and standard kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of food products and apply culinary techniques.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items for service.
• Label and date products for safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain menu knowledge and plate presentation.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff during service.
• Prepare base sauces, stocks and soups.
• Work as a team to meet guest needs.
