Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome customers and support front-end operations in our Charleston, WV location. You will promote programs, hand out materials, and help with guest check-in and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills. You will wear the Bass Pro gear and maintain a positive shopping environment for guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers entering the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Promotes programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pickup.
• Represents the brand through professional dress and friendly demeanor and badge visibility.
• Checks in customers’ merchandise for returns.
• Checks in Vendor representatives and manages visitor badges/logs.
• Informs customers about store events and promotions; distributes promotional materials.
• Maintains clean, tidy, and safe entryway and surrounding area.
• Assists with guest firearms check-in by notifying the designated Outfitter; greeters do not handle firearms.
• All other duties as assigned.
