Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome guests and deliver outstanding service at the entrance. You will greet customers, share information about promotions, and assist with front-end tasks to support store operations.

Ideal candidates have prior customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment. This role includes part-time hours and a starting pay rate of $16.90–$18.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Actively promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pickup.
• Model brand standards by presenting a professional image and adhering to dress code.
• Check in all customers’ merchandise for return and vendor visits.
• Inform customers of events, sales or promotions and provide promotional materials.
• Keep entryway and surrounding area clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist with firearm check-in procedures per SOP (do not handle firearms).
• All other duties as assigned.
