Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome guests at the store entrance and assist with basic front-end tasks. You will greet customers, share information, promote club programs, and help direct shoppers in a prompt, positive manner.

This role emphasizes presentation, teamwork, and a strong commitment to customer service, with opportunities to support events and promotions while maintaining a clean, safe entryway and assisting with occasional firearm check-in procedures per SOP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Promotes programs including CLUB Membership (US only), VOC and In-Store Pickup.
• Models Bass Pro Shops brand standards in appearance and demeanor.
• Checks in all customers’ merchandise for returns and verifies visitor logs for vendors.
• Notifies customers of store events, sales, and promotions and distributes promotional materials.
• Maintains a clean, safe entryway and surrounding work area.
