Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Reception Access Support in Charlotte, NC. You will greet visitors, verify IDs, manage access, and maintain visitor records at a front desk in a commercial real estate location.

This role emphasizes customer service and communication, with a flexible part-time schedule and access to our shift-claim platform. The pay rate is $18.26 per hour and you will work Wed and Thu 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, supporting tenants and guests while upholding

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a front desk in a commercial real estate location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and/or access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, entry activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations calmly following emergency procedures.
• Answer calls, provide directions and site information, and communicate with building management and Allied Universal leadership.
