Job summary

Placements24 seeks a friendly Guest Services Agent for a stylish hotel in East London, Eastern Cape. You will manage check-ins/check-outs, handle inquiries, and provide information about services and local attractions to ensure a memorable stay.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Experience with PMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and process check-ins/outs efficiently and accurately.
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Manage reservations, modify bookings, and assist with room assignments.
• Process payments and maintain accurate cash and card records.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and Maintenance to meet guest needs.
• Promote hotel services and loyalty programs to guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Assist with administrative tasks and prepare daily reports.
