Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly manner as they arrive at the office.
• Schedule appointments and direct the patient appointment scheduling process.
• Enter and update patient medical records.
• Answer phones, triage incoming calls, and send messages through the office electronic medical record.
• Contact insurance companies regarding issues with medical claims and check benefits for office procedures.
• Send out patient invoices and other patient correspondence.
• Collect co-pays and other patient payments.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
