Job summary

Artis Senior Living in Herndon, VA is seeking a part-time Concierge to join our reception and front desk team. The Concierge will greet visitors, answer calls, and provide administrative support to the Marketing team and community leadership.

The role emphasizes resident and family service, confidentiality, and adherence to safety policies. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and the schedule features Fridays and Saturdays with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residents’ and family members’ questions and share information with the Director, Business Services and Executive Director or supervisor as appropriate.
• Greet and direct all visitors in a professional and helpful manner.
• Answer all incoming calls within three rings and triage inquiries, transfer calls or take messages as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain all business office areas for cleanliness, including community entrance, front lobby, conference rooms, beverage stations, and administrative restroom.
• Organize incoming mail and ensure it is distributed to the appropriate person.
• Assist in telephone inquiries in the absence of an available Marketing person to obtain information from inquiries.
• Provide administrative support to the Marketing team, including process move-in paperwork and schedule tours.
• Maintain the community resource information library, directory, and collateral for residents and families.
• Observe community policies and safety regulations; maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Perform all other duties as requested.
