Job summary

Pitman Manor, a United Methodist Communities (UMC) senior living community in downtown Pitman, NJ, is hiring a part-time receptionist. You will greet residents and visitors, answer calls, monitor the call system, and maintain front-desk records.

Expect a set schedule: one weeknight 4:30 PM–9:00 PM and every other weekend 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional flexible hours. Training is provided onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Available for part-time schedule and occasional flexible hours.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, and visitors and guide them where to go.
• Answer and transfer calls on a multi-line phone.
• Monitor the resident call system and alert staff promptly.
• Walk the building on routine rounds and report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Keep the visitor log and front desk records up to date.
• Assist with filing, data entry, and other office tasks.
