Job summary

Marshland Credit Union is seeking a Part-Time Teller to serve members with friendly, accurate service across multiple branches. You will process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments while maintaining cash accuracy and confidentiality.

This floating role requires travel between branches, adherence to security rules, and ability to support peak times. Prior cash handling is preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital systems is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior teller, banking, or cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to support co-workers and branch goals.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Balance cash drawer daily and follow cash handling procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, suspected fraud, and security concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Promote credit union products during teller transactions.
• Respond promptly to member inquiries and direct to appropriate staff.
• Provide friendly, accurate service to members.
• Assist with drive-through transactions and other teller duties.
