Job summary

Absolute Storage Management is seeking a Floating Assistant Manager to enhance tenant relations across three Chattanooga properties. The role emphasizes customer service, sales, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers approximately 20 hours per week, with responsibilities spreading across locations, duties including rental support, cash handling, and daily operations. A high school diploma is required and background checks will be performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment preferred.
• Property Manager: at least one year of property management experience preferred.
• Background screening will be conducted at time of hire.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required if driving is involved.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through advertising opportunities; upsell rentals, insurance, and moving supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and guiding customers through rental processes.
• Resolve issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office and grounds; keep records and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Monitor local rates, specials, and revenue factors; report information to supervisors.
• Handle daily admin tasks including cash handling, balancing receipts, and bank deposits.
• Assist tenants with rentals through programs like U-Haul or Penske where applicable.
