Job summary

Absolute Storage Management in Nashville is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager to act as a Client Happiness Hero and multitasking maestro. The role involves helping customers rent units in-person, by phone, and via marketing channels, while identifying storage solutions and guiding new customers through the rental process.

You will maintain the office, handle cash and daily deposits, balance receipts, and support local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Sales or retail experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment preferred.
• Property Manager: At least one year of experience preferred.
• Background + MVR screening will be conducted at time of hire.
• For positions that involve driving, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through advertising/marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes
• Resolves issues professionally and positively
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep well-organized records and perform minor maintenance tasks and regular property inspections
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information gathered, including rates and specials, to supervisors and other departments; perform additional marketing functions as needed
• Monitors rates, specials, and revenue-related factors
• Perform required daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, processing daily bank deposits and completing auctions according to policy and laws
• If at a participating location, assist tenants with completing, processing and returning rentals through programs such as U-Haul, Penske, or company-owned rental truck services.
