Job summary

Absolute Storage Management, LLC. seeks a Floating Assistant Manager to support multiple Nashville-area properties, totaling about 24 hours per week. The role involves assisting customers with rentals, driving strong service, and handling daily admin tasks across sites.

You will help with sales, marketing, and property inspections while maintaining cleanliness and organization. A high school diploma and sales or retail experience are preferred, with property management experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment preferred.
• Property Manager: At least one year of property management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through advertising opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and guiding customers through rental processes.
• Resolve issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep records and perform minor maintenance tasks and regular property inspections.
• Shop local competitors; report market information to supervisors; perform additional marketing tasks as needed.
• Monitor rates, specials, and revenue-related factors.
• Handle daily administrative tasks including cash handling, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, deposits, and auctions.
• Assist tenants with rentals via programs like U-Haul, Penske, or company-owned services when at participating locations.
