Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Part Time Fleet Control Clerk to ensure vehicles are rental ready across status and location. You will coordinate registration, inventory, staging, and tracking of non-retable vehicles at a specific site, while handling office tasks and some outdoor vehicle work.

The role includes using handheld devices, emails, report reviews, and attending meetings, with shifts that may include nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in car rental or fleet/asset control is a plus.
• Ability to operate computers and tablets and to navigate GPS mapping apps.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections, registrations, and staging to make vehicles rental/sale ready at the site.
• Review site vehicle status to resolve mis-codes and aging.
• Organize lot staging and use mobile devices for scanning and tracking.
• Monitor non-rentable units and fleet levels with the Pool Fleet Manager to return vehicles to service.
• Ensure all vehicles are tagged and tracked with the Quadrant system and review aging windows.
• Handle data entry, emails, reports, and conference calls.
• Coordinate transportation and car haulers for Non-Revenue moves.
