Job summary

Hertz in Hebron, KY is seeking a Fleet Specialist to ensure vehicles are rental-ready by inspecting, tracking, and properly registering inventory on site. The role involves organizing the lot, tagging assets, and coordinating vehicle movement to meet demand.

You will work with handheld devices, maintain accurate data, and support fleet management through reporting and admin tasks in a hybrid outdoor/indoor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive, fleet, transportation, logistics, or asset management.
• Previous car rental industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are rental-ready through inspections, registrations, and status updates.
• Monitor vehicle inventory and resolve fleet status discrepancies.
• Organize and stage vehicles to support efficient operations.
• Track and review out-of-service vehicles and coordinate their return to service.
• Conduct vehicle inventories and maintain asset control records.
• Install and manage asset tags for incoming vehicles.
• Use handheld mobile devices to scan, track, and update vehicle information.
• Coordinate vehicle transportation and non-revenue fleet movements.
• Complete administrative tasks including data entry, email communication, report review, and work order management.
• Collaborate with operational and fleet management teams to maintain fleet availability.

Join Our Team as a Fleet Specialist! Are you organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors? As a Fleet Specialis t, you will play a key role in keeping our fleet rental-ready by ensuring vehicles are properly tracked, maintained, registered, and positioned where they are needed most.

Location: 3286 Loomis Road, Hebron KY 41048

Pay: $15.50 per hour

What You'll Do
