Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. seeks a Fleet Specialist to ensure vehicles are rental-ready by coordinating registrations, inspections, staging, and asset tracking at a dedicated site. Expect a mix of office tasks and outdoor vehicle handling with handheld devices.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. You will support the Pool Fleet Manager, manage asset tagging, and help keep the fleet properly available for rentals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in the car rental industry preferred.
• Prior asset control experience preferred.
• Prior logistic or transportation experience preferred.
• Must have ability to work with computers and tablets.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Must be able to navigate GPS mapping applications and follow guided directions.
• Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to make vehicles rental/sale ready, including inspections and registrations.
• Review VAW variance to resolve cars improperly coded.
• Organize lot staging to enable quick action based on status; scan with mobile devices.
• Review non-rentable units and fleet levels; work with the Pool Fleet Manager to resolve issues.
• Ensure all vehicles are marked with Quadrant system and monitor aging windows/No Rev reports.
• Inventory vehicles and monitor asset control points; update fleet status.
• Add new asset tags to incoming fleet and receive vehicles in EAM.
• Perform administrative duties: data entry, emails, reports, and conference calls.
• Coordinate transportation and car haulers, including Non-Revenue moves.
