John Boner Neighborhood Centers in Indianapolis seeks a friendly Fitness Zone Receptionist to welcome members, answer questions, and support daily operations at the Boner Fitness & Learning Center. In this part-time, non-exempt role, you will greet members, provide program information, promote memberships, handle check-ins, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space during early morning shifts.

Prior customer service or sales experience and good communication are preferred; availability includes

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interact with diverse populations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems (Outlook, Teams, databases).
• Professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in members, creating a welcoming and positive environment.
• Provide accurate information about programs, services, and class schedules.
• Answer phones and respond to member inquiries in a professional and helpful manner.
• Promote and sell memberships, including providing tours to prospective members.
• Process memberships and maintain accurate member records.
• Support day-to-day operations of the Fitness Zone, including organization and cleanliness.
• Assist with scheduling and program coordination as needed.
• Build positive relationships with members, guests, and staff.
• Help ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for all participants.
