Indiana University Public Safety in Bloomington is seeking a Part Time Public Safety Associate to support campus safety. You will perform building inspections to verify compliance with state and NFPA standards, resolve code issues during construction, and assist with fire safety maintenance and event coverage across campuses.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication skills.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This position requires attendance at many special events that occur outside of normal working hours including evenings and weekends.
This position requires the ability to occasionally travel to other campuses to provide additional support for investigation efforts.
