Job summary

OpenDor Media in New York, NY is seeking a part-time CFO who will own the general ledger, close, consolidated GAAP statements, and the internal control environment while leading the finance team. You will manage non-U.S.

accounting, Form 990, revenue recognition, budgeting, cash, AP/AR, and oversee audit processes with strategic input to leadership and the Board. The role expands with the organization's growth, offering high autonomy, collaboration with program divisions, and leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting and finance with full close cycle ownership.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP for nonprofits and audits.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Strong ERP and data-driven process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger, close calendar, and consolidated GAAP reporting.
• Manage internal controls, audit processes, and Form 990.
• Oversee non-U.S. accounting, revenue recognition, and compliance.
• Partner with programs and board stakeholders on budgets and forecasts.
