Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Direct nonprofit supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee A/P and A/R processes, including invoicing, payments, billing, collections, and documentation.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, disbursements, account balances, and short-term cash forecasting.
• Prepare and approve monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, allocations, payroll-related entries, and other adjustments.
• Lead the monthly financial close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger review.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit requirements.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and management reports, explaining variances as needed.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
