Job summary

OpenDor Media is seeking a Director of Finance and Controller to own the accounting and finance function for a global nonprofit with an operating budget around $20 million and staff across the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. This role offers growth beyond the traditional Controller seat, partnering with division heads and the CFO.

Qualifications

• 8+ years progressive accounting and finance experience, including full close cycle and consolidated financial statements.
• Experience in nonprofit/government or multi-entity environments is a plus.
• Strong ERP and systems fluency with a focus on automation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger and close across all entities and locations; ensure timely, reconciled close.
• Prepare consolidated GAAP financial statements with variance analysis.
• Manage non-U.S. accounting and compliance; coordinate intercompany activity and foreign currency translation.
• Lead audit and Form 990 processes; maintain internal control environment.
