OpenDor Media seeks a Director of Finance and Controller to own the accounting and finance function for a global nonprofit with a $20 million budget and staff across the U.S., Israel, the U.K., and South Africa. This leadership role is designed to expand beyond traditional controller duties and partner with division heads and the CFO.

The position is part‑time for the CFO function but demands full ownership of the close, audits, and compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with full close cycle.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP for nonprofit organizations.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, or multi-country environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger, close process, and consolidated GAAP statements.
• Oversee accounting for non-U.S. operations and intercompany activity.
• Lead internal controls, audits, and Form 990 processes.
