Job summary

OpenDor Media is seeking a Director of Finance and Controller to own the accounting and finance function across a global nonprofit with multi-entity operations and a growing budget. You will lead close processes, financial reporting, and governance while partnering with the CEO, Board, and division heads.

You will manage budgeting, treasury, and the finance team, with strong ERP and automation emphasis and a commitment to leveraging AI in improving efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience including full close and consolidated statements.
• CPA and/or MBA with strong accounting background.
• Nonprofit sector experience, donor/fundraising processes and Form 990 familiarity.
• Deep U.S. GAAP knowledge and nonprofit accounting standards.
• Experience owning external audits and internal control environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and automation, Excel, and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting, close, and financial reporting across entities.
• Oversee global finance, intercompany activity, foreign currency, payroll.
• Lead internal controls, policies, audits, and Form 990 liaison.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial modeling.
• Oversee treasury, cash management, and banking operations.
• Lead and develop the finance team and systems, incl. automation.
