Hot Topic, Inc. in Kansas City, MO seeks a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 who will support the store leadership team to deliver an outstanding customer experience for fans of music and pop culture.

You will train new recruits, assist with daily operations, and help hit sales targets while applying your fandom knowledge to engage customers and drive add-on sales on a fast-paced retail floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail store experience.
• Excellent communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership potential.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle store routines.

Responsabilités

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty.
• Cover sales floor and support store leadership when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales on the register and promote add-ons like BOPIS and curbside.
• Communicate fashion & music trends to management and HQ partners.
• Keep stock room organized and maintain store cleanliness.
• Develop a collaborative, passionate team to run the store.
• Address shortages or overages with the Store Manager.
