Job summary

FUTURES INCORPORATED is seeking a Building Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance and safety across Connecticut facilities. Part-time and non-exempt, 20–25 hours weekly, you’ll coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-safety tasks while managing vendors and safety programs.

Responsibilities include inspections, work-order tracking, and compliance with OSHA and building codes. A Connecticut driver license is required and prior facilities experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years facilities or property management experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and building safety requirements.
• Valid Connecticut driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-safety maintenance.
• Conduct routine, weekly inspections and manage repair projects.
• Manage facility vendors, contractors and snow removal services.
• Maintain centralized work-order tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and safety programs.
• Identify and address facility safety hazards.
• Ensure OSHA, fire marshal, building code and insurance compliance.
