Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. in New Haven, CT is seeking a Facility Coordinator/Technician to provide technical maintenance support to site-based teams, dispatch work, manage logs, and assist with procurement and preventive maintenance tasks.

The role requires basic carpentry/painting skills, safety awareness, and ability to read English. Lifting up to 75 lbs and ladder work may be required; driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or 1–3 months’ related experience.
• Technical degree in JVAC or two years' hands-on HVAC experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Creates schedule and dispatches to team members daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Maintains work order logs for monthly reports and updates as needed.
• Assists in procuring materials and services; issues and maintains work orders and invoices.
• Assist with readings and basic maintenance tasks; respond to emergencies when needed.
• Order parts and coordinate with trades for maintenance and repairs.
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks and report results.
