Job summary

University of Central Florida — University Operations Work Control Center is seeking a Part-Time Work Control Dispatcher I to respond to customer and staff requests, including emergencies, while representing Facilities & Business Operations. You will manage work requests via IWMS, dispatch to appropriate teams, and monitor critical facilities equipment with SOP-guided processes.

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Customer service experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process, prioritize, validate, and distribute incoming work requests across campus facilities.
• Dispatch work to zones/teams while balancing urgency for safety and operations.
• Notify pertinent parties and reconcile work requests across the organization.
• Handle RFIs and summarize information in verbal, email, or spreadsheet reports.
