Job summary

Assumption Seminary is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and basic repairs across its facilities in a professional, safety-conscious manner.

You will inspect buildings, handle plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical tasks, respond to after-hours emergencies, move equipment, complete work orders, maintain inventory, and support the Parish Operations Manager and Pastor. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in maintenance related work.
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Must have working knowledge of general maintenance tools.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all buildings and facilities and initiate repairs.
• Perform maintenance in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and other areas; report complex issues to management.
• Complete work orders and process them.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
• Move furniture and office equipment as requested.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of materials, parts, supplies, tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and protect confidential information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
