Job summary

Assumption Seminary is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance and basic repairs across multiple locations in San Antonio, Texas. This is a part-time role (20-25 hours per week) with non-exempt hourly status.

You will inspect facilities, perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work, respond to after-hours calls, and ensure safety procedures are followed while maintaining inventory and coordinating with staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in maintenance related work.
• Must have working knowledge of general maintenance tools.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.
• Must have good written and verbal skills.
• Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all buildings and facilities and initiate repairs.
• Perform maintenance in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and others.
• Complete work orders and process them.
• Responds to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
• Move furniture and office equipment as requested.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of materials, parts, supplies, tools and equipment.
