Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for patients and customers. You will help select frames, explain lens options, and coordinate measurements with optical staff to ensure precise vision solutions.

As a frontline team member, you will meet sales goals, handle POS transactions, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology and adapt with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to meet sales goals with accountability for results.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assists patients in the selection of frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements, assisting customers in choosing the best vision solution.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with the Optician as needed.
• Contributes to a positive store environment, maintaining professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Maintains store appearance by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Promotes inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
