Job summary

Lone Star College-Creekside Center in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a proctor to supervise exams and support students and faculty in a secure testing environment.

Responsibilities include administering exams, logging tests, and providing clear instructions by phone, email, or in person. A high school diploma or GED is required, with opportunities to contribute to a respectful, student-focused campus culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled Lone Star College students are not eligible to work in the Assessment Center.
• Undergraduate students are not eligible to administer CLEP or related exams.

Responsibilities

• Administers exams and monitors students during the exam.
• Provides testing instructions and assists students and faculty in person, by e-mail, and by phone.
• Receives and logs tests from instructors.
• Delivers and returns tests to instructors.
• Maintains tests in a secure environment.
• Makes ethical judgments regarding exam security.
• Performs administrative support such as filing, statistics, and scoring in a database.
• Troubleshoots test errors and equipment issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
