Lone Star College is seeking a part-time Proctor at its LSC-University Center Woodland location to support proctoring exams in a secure environment. This temporary grant-funded role requires strong attention to exam security and customer service in a small office setting.

The position involves welcoming students, providing testing instructions, logging tests from instructors, and ensuring secure handling of all materials.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Not eligible: current Lone Star College students cannot work in the Assessment Center as a Proctor due to test security.
• Not eligible: students enrolled in any undergraduate program are not eligible to administer CLEP exams or any exams related to their undergraduate program.

Responsibilities

• Administers exams and monitors students during the exams.
• Provides testing instructions/information to students in person, by e-mail, and by phone.
• Receives and logs incoming tests from instructors.
• Document delivery and return tests to instructors.
• Maintains tests in a secure environment.
• Makes sound, ethical judgments in regards to exam security.
• Performs administrative tasks, including maintaining files, recording statistics, and entering scores in a database.
• Troubleshoot test errors and equipment failure.
• Other reasonable related duties as assigned.
