Job summary

Allied Universal in New York, NY is seeking a Security Officer for an Evening Residential Community Patrol. This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts—Fri and Sat 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM—with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings via our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include customer service at the site, patrolling facilities and perimeters, responding to incidents, and logging activities.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Drivers license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transportation location clients, visitors, passengers, and personnel while executing site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities and perimeter areas, reporting unusual activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies following site procedures.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, and assist with directing visitors and vendors.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports for supervision.

Skills
