Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Brooklyn, NY with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.51/hour, with a schedule that includes DayTime Sun–Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, patrols, access monitoring, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, surrounding property, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, assisting visitors and occupants in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
