Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanc ed Part Time Patrol Preparedness for New York, NY. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on experience at multiple sites.

Pay rate is $18.87 per hour, with a typical DayTimeSun schedule from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, HS diploma, and background/drug checks as

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a government environmental services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and parking locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, maintain visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following procedures.
• Prepare clear activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
