Job summary

Allied Universal in New York is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Commercial Building Areas Patrol. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience with the industry leader.

You will deliver customer service to tenants and visitors, perform patrols, monitor for hazards, and report incidents.

Qualifications

• Must possess NY State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; background check per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and potential hazards in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of commercial areas including exteriors, parking, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and report unusual activity or property conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with visitor access and direction to support a professional environment at the location.
