Job summary

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support clinical and front office operations in Northern Virginia. You will work closely with providers to ensure an efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and a welcoming experience for every patient.

The role requires 1 year MA experience, a High School Diploma, and BLS certification at hire. CPOE training will be completed within two weeks. Evening and weekend shifts may be needed based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS certification required at time of hire (AHA/ARC).
• CPOE certification must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and eligibility information.
• Process co-pays and assist with scheduling.
• Prepare patients for examination and document history in the medical record.
