Job summary

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and front office operations, helping deliver high-quality care with a welcoming patient experience.

You will register patients, collect demographics, process co-pays, document histories, take vital signs, perform point-of-care tests, draw blood, and assist with room preparation and daily clinic tasks. This role requires 1 year MA experience and a BLS certification at hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and eligibility information.
• Process co-pays and assist with scheduling.
• Prepare patients for examination and document accurately in the medical record.
