Job summary

PITT OHIO is hiring a Part Time Dockworker- Outbound in Parma, OH. The position starts at 6 PM, Monday through Friday, focusing on loading and unloading freight in a safe and efficient manner. Candidates must pass a non-DOT physical, a pre-employment drug screen, and a ten-year work history check.

Qualifications

Must read and write English and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Must pass a non-DOT physical examination.
Must consent to pre-employment drug screen with negative result.
Must undergo a ten-year work history check and disclose gaps.
At-will employment policy applies.

Responsibilities

Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements by hand or using hand trucks or dollies.
Sort and secure items on trucks or dock to prevent damage.
Operate common material handling tools (carts, dollies, pallet jacks, tow motors).
Perform daily paperwork related to job execution.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
