Job summary

PITT OHIO Express LLC in Parma, OH is seeking a part-time Dockworker- Outbound. The role involves loading and unloading freight, ensuring DOT compliance, and maintaining a safe, efficient dock environment.

The position runs Monday–Friday with a 6 PM start. Competitive pay, a respectful work environment, and well-maintained equipment are offered; pay increases to the top rate after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must pass a NON-DOT physical examination.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen. PITT OHIO must receive a negative result.
• Must have the ability to read and write the English language and also perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must consent to a ten-year check on work history. Any gap of 30 days or more must be indicated and explained; documentation may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements, by hand or using a hand truck or dolly.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or the dock to prevent damage.
• Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks and tow motors as needed.
• Follow loading instructions and complete daily paperwork.
