Job summary

PITT OHIO is seeking a Part Time Dockworker - Outbound at Cheswick, PA to join our team. You will load and unload freight by hand or with carts, read shipping labels, and ensure items are secured on trucks according to DOT requirements while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Able to read shipping labels and follow loading instructions.
• Consent to pre-employment drug screen and a ten-year work history check.
• At-will employment status with the company.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight by hand or using hand trucks or dollies according to DOT requirements.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or docks to prevent damage.
• Handle various materials and operate material handling tools.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with federal and company regulations.
• Process daily paperwork and be available to work as directed.
