PITT OHIO is seeking a Part Time Dockworker-Outbound for its Phoenixville, PA location. The role runs Monday through Friday with a 5 PM start, offering competitive pay and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Must pass a NON-DOT physical examination.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen. Pitt OHIO must receive a negative result.
• Must be able to read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must consent to a ten-year check on work history. Gaps must be explained and documented.
• You will be an at-will employee. No contract of employment is guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Read, write, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers; perform simple math; read shipping labels; follow loading instructions.
• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements on and off trucks by hand or with a hand truck or dolly.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or docks to prevent damage according to DOT requirements.
• Handle varying materials (cartons, bags, boxes, crates, drums, etc.) and operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors.
• Work safely and professionally; comply with regulations; process daily paperwork; be available to work; contribute positively to the team.
