Qualifications

• Must pass a non-DOT physical examination.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen with a negative result.
• Ability to read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Consent to a ten-year work history check and provide documentation for gaps.
• At-will employment with no contract guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Read, write and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements, by hand or with hand trucks.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or dock to prevent damage.
• Lift various materials including cartons, boxes, crates, drums, and pipes.
• Use carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors; perform duties safely and professionally.
• Complete daily paperwork and comply with regulations; be available to work as scheduled.
