Job summary

Northern Essex Community College seeks a Part-Time EDP Entry Operator IV for Enrollment Services. Based mainly at the Lawrence Campus with possible rotations to Haverhill, you will handle front-line Welcome Express duties and data entry, guiding students through enrollment and handling communications.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle varied tasks in a dynamic college environment.

Qualifications

• At least three years of full-time or equivalent clerical experience in electronic data processing or related equipment.
• At least one year must have been in supervisory or administrative capacity.
• Substitutions available: certificate/diploma or Associate's degree may substitute up to the indicated years.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for enrollment service tasks including registrations and applications.
• Assist with department communications, mailings, and text replies.
• Occasional collection of payments from student accounts.
• Support campaigns and special enrollment projects.
• Guide students through the enrollment process.
• Process student IDs and parking passes.
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and via email/phone.
