Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Two years of experience in recruitment, admissions, enrollment services, student affairs, or similar field.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized guidance to prospective students from inquiry through enrollment and connect them with campus resources.
• Conduct recruitment and outreach activities via phone, email, text, virtual platforms, information sessions, and appointments.
• Plan and represent CT State Housatonic at recruitment/events, including high schools, college fairs, and community events.
• Develop relationships with high school counselors, adult education programs, workforce organizations, employers, and other partners to support enrollment.
• Coordinate campus visits, tours, meetings, and recruitment activities for prospective students and families.
• Collaborate with Admissions staff, faculty, and enrollment services to support recruitment initiatives and student engagement programs.
• Use enrollment data to assess outreach effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement while adhering to policies.
