Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking qualified Adjunct Instructors to serve as Elementary Education Field Supervisors. This part-time, fixed-term role connects PK-12 schools with the UW program, coaching student teachers and cooperating teachers to create strong field experiences.

Responsibilities include observation, feedback, and planning within a university-coordinated framework, with weekly cohort and seminar participation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience teaching in a P-9 setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with learner-centered approaches and evidence-based teaching.

Responsibilities

• Observation, coaching, and triad meetings with pre-service teachers and cooperating teachers.
• Provide individual student support and maintain records.
• Collaborate with Field Cohort team and co-facilitate seminars.
• Build and maintain relationships with assigned schools and communities.
